For developers, IPPs & project owners

Originate and advance renewable-energy projects across Africa.

African Sky identifies, qualifies and coordinates utility-scale solar, battery storage and hybrid opportunities where a credible route to development, investment or procurement exists.

A disciplined pipeline

Project volume matters only when there is a route forward.

African Sky is actively engaged across a growing 2GW+ opportunity pipeline. That figure represents projects under active engagement—not owned, awarded or delivered capacity.

We focus on the information and relationships that determine whether an opportunity can progress: project sponsorship, land, grid access, offtake, development status, technical inputs, financing pathway, procurement strategy and the roles of the parties involved.

Identify

Find credible projects, sponsors, programmes and market openings before key technology and procurement choices close.

Qualify

Establish stage, authority, documentation, constraints, missing information, counterparties and next decision points.

Structure participation

Define African Sky’s role, project protection, responsibilities and commercial basis before disclosing sensitive opportunities.

Advance

Coordinate appropriate developers, EPCs, investors, consultants, utilities and technology partners toward the next material milestone.

Engagement requirements

What makes a project discussion productive.

A first conversation does not require every answer. It should establish who controls the opportunity, what has been completed, what is missing and what decision must happen next.

Project fundamentals

Country, location, technology, MW/MWh, sponsor, intended buyer or offtaker and target programme.

Development position

Land rights, permitting, grid studies, generation licensing, offtake, environmental work and financing status where applicable.

Technical position

Site data, concept or layout, module and system assumptions, design basis and available specialist studies.

Commercial route

Required partners, procurement model, expected timeline, authority to engage and proposed commercial participation.

Questions

Project-origination engagement

Can early-stage opportunities be discussed?

Yes, where the sponsor is credible and there is a realistic path to land, grid, offtake, development approval or financing. The first task is to identify the critical next milestone.

Will African Sky disclose projects to suppliers immediately?

No. Named opportunities are shared selectively after commercial roles, confidentiality, lead protection and non-circumvention arrangements are clear.

How can African Sky be remunerated?

Depending on the mandate, the structure can include advisory fees, monthly retainers, development fees, milestone payments, success fees or negotiated project participation.

Present the opportunity

Start with the project, its current position and the next decision required.
